When I use the Elementor canvas template to create a landing page, and insert the amelia event on the page, the amelia event shows fine in the chrome browser, but does not show at all in the chrome incognito browser or in MS Edge.
However, this is not a good workaround because I lose the elementor editing advantages, like placement of widgets on the screen, colors, layout, etc.
Please advise how I can use elementor canvas to use the amelia events widget. Is this a fix that needs to happen on the amelia side? (to make amelia compatible with the Elementor "canvas" template?)
We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that this has nothing to do with Incognito, but with whether you are logged in or not.
The issue is with SiteGround Optimizer and "Combine JavaScript Files":
When that is turned off, it works normally
We left it turned off for you, but the issue is that the "Exclude from JavaScript Combination" section does not allow us to enter a file that should be excluded, but offers a list that does not contain Amelia's files.
You need to write to your hosting provider and ask them to turn off combining JS scripts for Amelia. Or to turn it off only for pages where Amelia is.
This should resolve everything.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
Also, my hosting provider, siteground, says "No JS for Amelia seems to appear when I take a look as well." So Marko, please tell me where you found this and how you turned it off, and whether it will stay off.
Turning that off does resolve the issue, but people usually tend to enable this option to slightly speed up page loading.
As for the JS files, you don't actually need to exclude JS files coming from Amelia, but instead turn off JS combining for pages where Amelia is.
There are a lot of JS files in Amelia, so excluding them all (or finding the ones that are causing this) can be a painstaking process. We don't have SG Optimizer since we don't use SiteGround as a hosting provider, in order to test each JS file to see which ones should be excluded. If the page loading speed isn't affected by this, you can simply leave the JS Combining turned off.

URL to see this:
However, when I change the wordpress template from "Elementor canvas" to default, then disable the header and footer manually, the amelia event widget displays, as in this staging URL:

Thanks. How did you turn it off? Wouldn't you turning it off resolve the issue? I have also contacted siteground support.
Also, my hosting provider, siteground, says "No JS for Amelia seems to appear when I take a look as well." So Marko, please tell me where you found this and how you turned it off, and whether it will stay off.
Hello Kelly,
My colleagues did this. I will forward this ticket to them again and as soon as they send me the feedback we will contact you again.

Here is a request for you, Marco, from my hosting provider, siteground:
"please contact them once again and ask them which files need to be excluded to make sure that the issue will be resolved.

Ok, then how do I leave it turned on? (since your colleagues turned it off). I'd prefer to have faster load time.
Hello again Kelly,
You have those settings in SG Optimizer
We have enabled it for you.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
