I am wondering what the best way would be to provide different levels of discount for repeat customers booking more than 1 event.

We offer one-day coaching camps for cricket training. On the company's previous website which was e-commerce based, the customer could add 2 or 3 camp days to the cart and receive the appropriate discount.

However, now using Amelia each camp day needs to be posted as an event. Once the customer purchases one camp day they can receive the discount code for their second camp day via notification email. But I am unsure how to approach the third-day discount code because I am not sure if the software can recognize when the same customer has made two purchases already if we were to send both discount codes for 2 or 3 camps in the same confirmation email.

Customers can still only purchase one event at a time correct?

The issue with the coaching company using services or packages is that coaching sessions are on set dates for set age groups, so the customer shouldn't be presented with a calendar to pick their own dates. But let me know if I am missing a trick and a way to use packages to offer levels of discount for events. Emailing discount codes would be a viable solution, but is there a way the software can recognize if the booking would be the user's second or third time and only allow the appropriate coupon to be applied?

    Many thanks,

    Naomi

    Hello Naomi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

We have a package feature, but it is only for appointments, not events, you can use packages if you set your employee's work hours as Special Days only, so the only offered dates are when the employee is available.

Otherwise, sending a coupon via email can be achieved only if you use the notification interval. So, if one customer books one event, they can receive an email with the discount coupon for the 2nd event. Then, you can set it to be a recurring notification, based on the interval. For example, if the interval is 1 - every time a new event is booked, the same coupon will be sent to the customer.

You can create 2 or 3, or more coupons. One after the 1st booking, then 2nd for the 3rd and 6th booking, and so on.

    I hope it helps,

If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to open a new ticket, and we'll gladly help.

    Have a nice day!

    Kind Regards,
