Since the latest update to Wordpress and the latest release of this plugin my server physical memory usage is maxing out at least once a day. I have been in touch with my host and they have informed me the spiking is coming from the Amelia plugin. Can someone please get in touch so that we can troubleshoot this isue.
Hi Uros, I am only now seeing this response. I wish to re-open this ticket to try to get it resolved. The issue happens when the store manager uses the search facility to locate a customer in the backend of the website. if they do a search using just one or two letters it causes the server physical memory to spike.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
Thank you for reaching back out to us.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

The slow load can be caused by a lot of things - the number of appointments you have, the number of customers, the number of employees, etc. Other than Amelia, it could be caused by the amount of other data you have on the page. Are you on a dedicated, or on shared hosting? Can you increase the php_memory_limit on your site? If you're not sure how to do that, you can reach out to your hosting provider. Please check out our demo sites and see how the plugin should behave on a site with dedicated hosting and good server performance.
Hi Uros for your answer. The PHP limit is set to 512MB on a shred hosting package which has 14 other sites on the same package. Again the issue is that the site spikes from time to time so that it exceeds the hosting server Physical Memory Usage" which is set at 1GB. From working with my hosting provider we have established that it is your plugin which is causing the site, we were able to trace it to the backend search form when used by the client to do a customer search. Currently we have over 3000 registered customers which is causing issues, I have asked the client to use the searching for now. I have also done some clean up of previous orders to purge out a lot of the completed appointments. I would appreciate it if you could look further into why the customer search is causing the physical memory of the server to spike like this.

More info on this from y hosting company is that the spike in the resource usage is coming from use of the backend customer search.
