We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
1. When our customers choose Credit or Debit card - Stripe the Zipcode field is not visible. The Zip field is not visible until after you enter your credit card. On some devices the Zip field does not appear at all.
Is there a way to make the Zip field static? As in, always visible?
We get about 10 people per week who have trouble with this and either contact us for help, opt for paying by Paypal, or worse case they walk away altogether, because they have trouble with the credit card.
2. And secondly, the error message that is displayed when they don't enter the Zip is: "Sorry, there was an error processing your payment. Please try again later."
This message does not give them the information that they need to solve their problem. How can I change this message to say: "Missing Zipcode" or something like that?
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your purchase
This input is in Stripe.js library and that library handles all related to this input.
I think when you enter the card number from UK for example, it will recognize that card is from UK and it will remove ZIP code. This is the quote from their documentation:
"Note that ZIP and postal code validation depends on your customer’s billing country. Use our international test cards to experiment with other postal code formats"
So when I add card number from my country it doesn't require ZIP code to be added.
This is how Stripe works.
The postal code appears when it recognizes where the card is from
This due to Stripe, this is how it works and we can not change or influence this I'm afraid.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best.
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
