I bought amelia and now when I want to change notfication way from PHP to SMTP I can't do this... i generated code in Gmail account and copied to amelia but i don't have email notifications.
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
If you already have our licenses, please write to us in the Amelia category. The reason we ask you to do this is that there has been a lot of abuse.
Because if the license has expired and the subscription has not been renewed, these users do not have access to our support, the same applies to licenses that are purchased through Envato.
Licenses purchased through Envato have access to our support for only 6 months when that time period has to elapse they have to contract Envato to extend the time for support.
We hope you understand.
An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
Hope this helps.
In case it doesn't please open a ticket in Amelia category because of the reasons that we have mentioned above.
