There is an option called Automatically create Amelia Customer user – If this option is enabled every time a new customer makes an appointment they will automatically get a WordPress user with the Amelia Customer user role and email with login details from WP, and that WP user would be connected to the customer created in Amelia.
If someone is already a WordPress user, and they book an appointment for the first time in Amelia while logged in to WP, the customer created in Amelia will be connected to that WP user and they will get the Amelia Customer role in WP (there are plugins for managing multiple roles in WordPress, such as User role editor).
This way they will have the same login info for the Amelia customer panel and WordPress.
This ticket is NOT resolved. The question was about EVENTS, not appointments. The question is: does Amelia add the user who books an event to the wordpress users list? You can see in the attached screenshots that:
1. Amelia did not add tester4 or tester5 to the wordpress users list after they signed up for the masterclass webinar event on Nov 4, and
2. tester3 email is in the wp users list as amelia customer, but that tester signed up for an appointment, not for an event.
3. The option for "Automatically create Amelia Customer User" was already turned on when testers4 and 5 emails signed up for the event. So those emails should have been added to the wp users list...but they were not.
It is the same for events and for appointments. WP user is created for both if everything is set and done properly. We are sending you the video where you can see that WP user is created when events is booked https://watch.screencastify.com/v/4C1jvZWnNYuMkRXNgxpm.
Marko - Here's a video of me showing that when a user signs up for an event, that user is not added to the wordpress user list. What settings should I check to ensure this works like your video? I have read the help files and cannot find what to change.
Marko - Here's another video I made of my Amelia settings, then me adding a new user to the event, but the user is NOT added to the wordpress users list. Please tell me where I can check to find why not.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
We have tested everything and everything is working. We are sending you screenshots and a video where you can see that we have booked the events twice and once we searched for Amelia customers in wp users we could see both of them
Please take a look at our video from your site that we are sending you in the attachment where you can see that everything is working every time and we can not replicate the issue.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
This is still NOT WORKING, hence please keep it open for now. Please see this video of me adding [email protected] to the Event on Dec 13. Amelia is NOT adding tester10 to the WP Users list, even though that user is confirmed to be signed u for the event. Please watch the video here:
What you can try - create a new test user email, then add that test user to the event on Dec 13. Then check the WP Users list to see if that user got added. I have done this with about 4 test user email accounts, and none of them got added to the wp users list, even though they are showing inside the amelia event under "Amelia-Events" as signed up.
Do you want to escalate this ticket at this point since it still is not resolved?
We have tested everything and everything is working. If you for example do the test book on the front as an admin those customers will be added as admin as well in the database. So you will need to access your database and delete them from there.
But once you book from the incognito window as we did you will those customer in WordPress users as Amelia Customers.
We have sent you a screenshot and a video from your site where you can see that everything is working.
If a new visitor to my wordpress site signs up for an Amelia event, will that user be automatically added to thelist of wordpress users?
I ask because I want to find a way to get that user's email over to mailchimp, and I don't see an ameila-mailchimp integration.
Thanks
Kelly

As for MailChimp you can read more about it on the following link https://wpamelia.com/web-hooks-settings/.
Hope this helps.

Hi Marko - What's the progress on this ticket? It's still a problem and it's been two days since I have heard from you. Thanks,
