Additionally, I just wanted to point out that we have pages with Demos, that you can use to try out the plugin's features - https://wpamelia.com/demos/
and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period, so if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out,
we would assist you with our support along the way, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period.
thanks for your answer. Sadly, it's not quite the use case we look to implement.
I want to predefine specific events or event type in the backend. An employee, then, can offer an event based on that template. He can change the date, time and so on, but most of the settings are predefined through a template.
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

Hi,
is there a way to predefine events that employees than can select from a pool and offer?
Hi, Freddy
Thanks for reaching out to us
-
We are sorry, but we don't fully understand this use case.
Could you please elaborate in more detail on what you mean by predefined Events that employees can select from a pool and offer?
-
If you mean to use Amelia Events, each Event we create has a fixed date and time and duration ( they can also span over multiple days if needed).
If you need employees to be able to book on behalf of customers, they can do so.
If you place Events List or Events Calendar shortcode on the front-end, employees can use incognito browser tab to book on behalf of customers.
-
If you need an employee to see Events in the back-end of Amelia,
they need to be connected to a WP user with Amelia employee role,
then when they log in WP Amelia back-end, each employee will only see the Events on which they are assigned to either as Organizer or as Staff,
they won't see other Events.
And they will be able to add attendees from the existing Customer List in Amelia.
They just can't add new customers from back-end.
Only Amelia Managers can do that.

You can see more about how Amelia Roles and Users works here.

I hope this helped,
but if not - please elaborate more about what you need and we will advise if it's possible.

Hi, Freddy
Sorry for the delay.
-
Unfortunately, at this time we don't have anything available to achieve a use-case like that.
We can only set Events into groups by using Event Tags, then we can place only a specific group of Events by using said tag on a page,
but we don't have any way to create a template of predefined settings, that an employee can choose during Event Creation.
When we create a new Event, we have to manually select each aspect of the Event.
- But it is a good suggestion for future development, so
please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page,
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
