Hello, I Had WPML installed on my site, but I don't need it so I would like to deactiavte it. However, when I deactivate the WPML plugins all the forms (booking forms and sign up forms), they appear in English. When I activate WPML again, the forms work ok.
I also tried to translate those strings with Loco Translate, but that didn't help.
What can I do?
I really like the plugin, but I am having so many issues with strings that cannot be translated. I opened tickets about that, but without success. It's to a point where I feel I can't use the plugin (for example I would just like to get paid via bank transfer, but in the booking process the user sees "On-site" - and my users don't even know what on-site means, so I would like to call it "Bank transfer".
4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated
6. Save the translation.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.
This is an example of the French language, but you will choose yours.
Hope this helps.
As for on-site translations, you can achieve that easily in 2.0 customize sections like this
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.

Please help with these strings.
Hello Alex,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Amelia inherits the language that is set in WordPress. If you need some string to be translated it is best to use Poedit.
If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction:
1. Download the Amelia plugin your profile in our store and save the .zip file on your computer.
2. Unzip the downloaded .zip file.
3. You need to download and install POEDIT.
