Indexing searchable data

    Is the data in a data table searchable by Google and the likes search engines? So when a part is searched on the internet, it shows up as an available product from our website. I am using your premium paid version and want to purchase another license for another website, but they want to make sure the data is searchable. It isn’t an effective tool if the parts are not searchable.

    Hi, Tony

    Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    The tables are crawlable by search engines, if that helps :

    - Non-server-side tables (linked to Excel, CSV, PHP, JSON, XML, and Google Sheets) are crawlable in their entirety,
    while the server-side tables (manual, imported and MySQL query-based) only show the rows that are present in the table when the page loads.

    I hope that helps.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello,

    In response to your answer below, the parts on data table parts list for https://farwestair.com/parts-listing/ do NOT show up in general internet searches. For example, a common part that Farwest sells is aircraft part A34016-237. If you search " aircraft part A34016-237" for that many competitors show up, but Farwest does not. The data tables are using excel files stored in the media uploads folder and work great to search the Farwest website for parts, but do not show up in a general search of Google, Bing etc. The competitors DO show up in the searches as seen in attachment and clicked through here: https://www.aviapool.com/toolsearch.php?toolnum=A34016-237&searchtype=number

    If you do a defined search for the part using "Farwest Aircraft part A34016-237", it does show up then. But we need to show up in general searches like the other companies do. We use Yoast SEO plugin, but obviously can't list all part numbers in meta description, data or keywords/phrase. That would be a massive list to expect be added into a simple plugin.

    How do you suppose people are setting up their large inventory lists to work in a general search? We need to figure this out as soon as possible so I can also add this ability to our www.sonicoinc.com website and www.farwestair.com sites.

    I am truly sorry to disappoint you, bur our support does not cover any SEO optimizations for our users.

    What you are seeing is the default behaviour of our tables and plugin - that is how the Google SEO is currently handling the data;

    The only useful information we have regarding SEO is what we already mentioned :

    The tables are crawlable by search engines, if that helps :

    - Non-server-side tables (linked to Excel, CSV, PHP, JSON, XML, and Google Sheets)

     are crawlable in their entirety,

    while the server-side tables (manual, imported and MySQL query-based) only show the rows that are present in the table when the page loads.

    -

    Once again, i honestly wish we could be more helpful to assist you in SEO optimization, but our support is not able to cover it at this time.

    We will do our best to work on adding improvements for SEO with our plugin's tables,

    but i can't promise a realistic ETA on it.

    If you have any ideas for suggestions on future improvements of our plugin,

    please feel free to search on our suggestions page

     to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there,  and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

    and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    -

    Of course, we will be here for any other assistance that you might need - we will do our best to help as much as possible, don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions.

    Thank you

    Kind Regards,
