We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi there,
I want to display a few specific events in a List.
So not one or all events but x-amount of events.
Option 1) You show me a trick on how to do this.
Option 2) For now, I repeat the eventList shortcode for 1 event a few times and voila, x-amount specific events. The problem with this is: when the screen loads, the events are 'am-active'. So, all the information is visible. But I want the info only to be visible after a click. Now it takes up a whole page to load 3 events, if they would be closed I could show 6.
I hope this made sense.
Is there any way you can help?
Thanks in advance.
Florian.
(here it is active, so the pop-up is open)
(this is how I want it to look, when the screen first loads)
Hello Florian,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
If understand correctly what you want to achieve, you can do that with our event tag shortcode like this
Hope this helps.
We wish you all the best.
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards,

Hi Marko,
Thank you for your reply.
For now this does help. In the future I might need to display certain events that do not have a tag in common.
Or only a few events of a certain tag. Is there a solution for this?
Many thanks already.
Florian
Hello Florian,
We are glad that this helps. Unfortunately there is no other way. But you can just place several [ameliaevents tag='name'] on the same page one bellow the other and this should able to achieve what you need.
Also I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this link https://features.wpamelia.com/
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
We wish you all the best.
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards,
