I run a cohort of 10 students that will be meeting weekly for 3 months. Which would be better to use for this: appointments or events? My requirements:

    1. As admin, I want to show the weekly meetings in a nice-to-look-at list calendar format on the cohort home page, so they are all in one place and easily viewable by the students.
    2. As admin, I want to invite all 10 students to one recurring meeting, so they don't have to sign up for individual meetings
    3. As admin, I want to be able to go into each weekly meeting and add the topic of the week, so that students can see it and prep for it.

I'm familiar with short codes, and currently have a shortcode on the cohort home page showing the one recurring event I created, in calendar list format; but I don't want to ask my students to sign up for 12 separate events. Instead, I want to invite them to one (whether it's event or appt).

    Thanks for any thoughts,

    Kelly

    Hello Kelly N Fidei,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

When you have several questions or issues, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily.

Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.

    Thank you for understanding.

    1.  As admin, I want to show the weekly meetings in a nice-to-look-at list calendar format on the cohort home page, so they are all in one place and easily viewable by the students. - You can use both. Working hours of the service depend on the working hours of the employee. So only that time and days will be set show as available. Personally, the Events list is in my opinion better choice for you but you can use both.

    2. As admin, I want to invite all 10 students to one recurring meeting, so they don't have to sign up for individual meetings - You can book for each one manually form the back or they can book by themself from the front. There is no option in Amelia for you to call them to book that appointment.

    3. As admin, I want to be able to go into each weekly meeting and add the topic of the week, so that students can see it and prep for it. - Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. The only option that we can think of is that you create Event for that week and to cal it something specific and also you can add the description for that Events where you can write that information.

    4. Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. Students must book one by Event. Each event if if it is recurring is separate and they have to book each one of them one by one.

I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this link https://features.wpamelia.com/

Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,
