Hello,
If a customer purchase a package with several services. Is the customer able to choose by which employee the service will be provided? I mean not just choose date and time, but also employee.
Thank you
Hello Tadeas,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, if you have more than one employee connected to the service, your customers will have the option to select an employee or the default is "any employee"
“Employees” – this option allows you to choose which employees assigned to the service will provide the service in the package. This gives you flexibility because if you use both services and packages you don’t need to have all employees assigned to the service assigned in the package as well. If you don’t check any employees, our plugin will connect the package with all employees assigned to the service.
If you need some further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Have a nice day!
Kind Regards,

Dear Tadeas,
You are welcome,
if your customers select an employee when they purchase the package, all remaining services will be linked to that employee. If they don't select the employee when they purchase the package, they should be able to choose the employee in the customer panel when booking the remaining appointments in the package.
Front-end Customer Panel allows you to offer your customers an easy way to track, reschedule and/or cancel their appointments and events. In the Customer Panel, customers can manage their personal details without logging into the WordPress backend.
You can find out more here: https://wpamelia.com/front-end-customer-panel/.
Let us know if there is anything else that we can help you with.
Have a nice day!

Hello Stanislav,
Thank you for your reply again.
Yes, I did not choose the employee. And still I am not able to choose the employee. I can just choose date a time and afterwards some employee is shown in my reservation (front-end customer panel).
So if i do not choose the employee during purchase, will I be able to select several employee or still just one. I mean that the same service would be provided by for example Roman, Maryna, Sergey in other dates...
And other thing. Is it possible to use a coupon for packages?
Thank you,
Tadeas
Dear Tadeas,
You are welcome,
>Yes, I did not choose the employee. And still I am not able to choose the employee. I can just choose date a time and afterwards some employee is shown in my reservation (front-end customer panel).
Please specify where you can not select an employee; it would be nice to see a screenshot if possible.
>So if i do not choose the employee during purchase, will I be able to select several employee or still just one. I mean that the same service would be provided by for example Roman, Maryna, Sergey in other dates...
Only one employee in Amelia can perform one service. You can connect several employees to the service, but you can choose only one to perform it.
>And other thing. Is it possible to use a coupon for packages?
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. At the moment, coupons can’t be assigned to packages, only Services, and Events, but you can set a custom price for each Package.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this link https://features.wpamelia.com/
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
Look forward to your reply.
Have a nice day!

Dear Tadeas,
just to clarify the current logic in Amelia for picking/assigning employees to Service appointments from a Package;
You are correct - In either case, a customer can not choose employees when they come back to the Customer Panel to book the remaining appointments ( if they already booked the first appointment or more of the Package).
-
For example, if you assign multiple employees to a service,
when a customer purchases the package,
1. If they choose a specific employee for the initial appointment(s) - if they do that, this trainer will be the only one linked to the remaining appointments of that service in the package.
-2. But, if they select "Any employee", (or if you hide employee selection from the front end),
they will see all the time slots of all the available employees,
and when they pick the date and time of the first appointment, Amelia will assign a random employee.
Then later, when they come back to book additional appointments in that Service,
all the trainers will be available, and all their time slots,
so if the assigned trainer is busy, Amelia will randomly assign any other available trainer.
-
So, basically :
1. If the customer chooses an employee, this employee is then linked to all the remaining appointments of that service in that Package
2. If the customer leaves it to "any employee", Amelia's logic will leave it as "random" for the remaining appointments.
-
If you have any more issues or questions feel free to ask, we will gladly help.
Have a great day!

Stanislav Snagovskiy
