    Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to:
    A) assign services to a particular location as there are varying prices based on locality.
    B) generate services in a dependent dropdown in the form based on the location the user selects.

    Is this possible?

    A side note in relation to the actual post title, even though I have Locations enabled in the step by step form, this field does not appear on the front end for the user to select.

    Hi, Max

    Sorry for the delay

    1.

    In regards to assigning services to a location - we currently don't have a way to associate a service to a location;

    but instead, we assign employees to one or more locations.

    Please check more details explained how this works here;

    and let me know if anything is still not clear regarding that.

    -

    In regards to variable prices - Amelia does not have any conditional logic available yet.

    We will be working on that in the future, but i can't say an ETA on it.

    -

    At the moment, the only way to have different prices for the same service, is if you assign multiple employees,

    and each employee can have a different price for providing the service.

    -

    When you go to "Edit Employee" modal,  you can set a custom price for each employee per service :

    So, a workaround for your use-case,  if you need multiple locations, and different price per location,

    you can make either different employees - each to their own location, and each their own price;

    -

    Or you can make "duplicates" of the same employee, but Amelia will regard them as different employees;

    and then you can assign them each to a Location/different price, etc.

    There is also a workaround to set same Name/same Email, to duplicate employees ( if you need that let me know)

    2.

    The only workaround i can think of currently is,  you can reorder the Form selection fields, to make the Location on top, as the first one;

    then a customer can pick a Location first;

    and depending on that,  they will get services only from that location, on the Services dropdown.

    You can reorder this in Amelia Customize/Select New Step 2.0 Form/Choose the first step/reorder

    You can also make Location field Mandatory:

    But we can not "force the customer" to pick Location first;

    technically speaking they could click "services" first, and it will list all services;

    but if they click "location" first, and choose one, it will filter the Services.

    -

    Of course, you can also hide Employee selection if needed, in the Customize section, as well.

    -

    Let me know if this might work? Thank you

    Kind Regards,

    I found that your new step by step booking form 2.0 is very close to what I need. Is there any way to customize the steps involved on the side bar? I don't need anything to do with recurring appointments. I want to remove those steps entirely. I don't see any configurations for that.

  • Max Bourque replied

    or the ability to add fields to the "your information" section. I need to capture customer address but it appears as though I'm limited to 4 fields (first name, last name, email, phone)

  • Max Bourque replied

    Ah, I've figured everything out. Recurring options are set on a service-level setting and the custom fields are able to be applied per service as well. Thanks for the great plugin, much appreciated.
