My client owns a Spa and wants to charge different rates for local and international clients. Could this be achieved with Amelia? Is there an additional plugin that can integrate with Amelia to accomplish this?
Also, can one link two Amelia calendars to avoid double bookings if I want to run a region-specific website?
I am sorry to disappoint you, but currently, we don't have any solution with our plugin ( or integration with another plugin) to achieve what you described, in terms of setting up conditional logic per Region / variable pricing per Region of customers.
Amelia does not have any conditional logic ( yet).
-
We have a facility to set different prices per employee ( for same service),
but we don't have a way to set a variable/conditional price in according to the region/location of the customer.
You can make a suggestion for our developers, and we will consider working on something like that in the future.
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

The only possible idea I might have for a custom workaround...
You could try to find if there is a plugin that can restrict access to certain page(s), depending on the site visitor's region...
If you can set up something like that on a site, then theoretically it might be possible to restrict access to specific pages, and allow only a visitor from a certain region to see it - for others to block access;
Then you can create different services with different prices;
for example , a visitor from Region 1 would have access to page 1 where you can place a shortcode for Service 1, a default price of a service/package offered for them.
Then, another Region 2 would have access to page 2 where [ameliacatalog package=2] is placed, which would have different prices, and so on...
Important to note that this is just my personal suggestion/idea, and our support would not cover setting up the restrictions per region, but we can help you with anything regarding Amelia itself.

Here are more details about our Package feature, if you wish to check that out , as well.

Here are more details about our Package feature, if you wish to check that out , as well.
And here is a Quick Start Guide, if you wish to try out Amelia,
we have pages with Demos - https://wpamelia.com/demos/
and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period, so if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out,
we would assist you with our support along the way, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period.

2.
You can connect an employee to an Account that has multiple Calendars,
but then you will see a dropdown on the "edit Employee" modal , and we can only choose to synchronize one Calendar at a time.
We will be working on adding a feature to synchronize more than 1 calendar at same time for same employee - but currently its not possible.
You can see here more details about :
integration with Google calendar;
integration with Outlook Calendar;
Let me know how that sounds, and if you have any questions. Thanks.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi, Jean
I just forgot to add;
it is also possible to connect multiple employees to a same Calendar, so you can make duplicate/dummy employees,
and if you enable to sync Busy Slots with both - then if employee A has a booking at certain time span;
this same time span can not be booked for employee B , so they can "share busy slots", when connected to same Calendar, if that makes sense.
Wanted to add this, if that helps.
Let me know how all that seems, and If you have any questions on what we covered so far.
Thank you
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

HI Milos,
Thank you for the reply.
Will try and see what we can do for the custom workaround before we proceed.
Hi, Jean
You're welcome
No problem at all. We will be here, so don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Sorry, does Amelia support Multi-Currency?
Hi, Jean
If you mean to have multiple currencies displayed at the same time, that is currently not possible in Amelia.
At this time, we can set one currency at a time that will be used for all prices,
which can be set in the Payments settings.
If you wish to see a feature for multiple currencies at the same time,
you can also check on our feature suggestion page,
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

Hi, Jean
I just double-checked regarding the multi-currency,
our management actually has that in scope for the near future, since a number of users have already requested this feature.
We can't promise any ETA on it,
but you can follow our changeLog page , where we state any new features during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

Hi Milo,
By multi-currency I mean that the currency will change to whatever region you are from.
As I mentioned in this thread, the client would like to charge local and international clients a different rate.
Thanks again for the quick response.
Regards
Jean
Hi, Jean
Thank you for this clarification, i see exactly what you mean now.
Unfortunately, it is not currently possible - but i will pass this suggestion for our developers;
and they will do their best to work on a solution as soon as possible.
Thank you for this suggestion for improvement.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
