Want to understand Google sheets sync & something more

There are some questions I have:

    1. Do you provide a free trial?
    2. I want to create a simple CRUD app using Google sheets as database. Does it have a 2-way sync for the same? As in, data from Google sheets is shown on the embedded table. And when the table is edited by the user, the linked Google sheet is updated.
    3. Can I get a personal demo to understand more?

    Hi, Rushi

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    1. We don't have a free trial, but

we have a Demo Sandbox site, where you can try out the plugin functionalities, on this link

and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period, So if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period. ( same goes for all plugins and add-ons)

    2.

Unfortunately, that is not possible currently with our plugin - if you link source data to a table, this table is not editable from WP side.

I will elaborate in more details.

When you use Google Spreadsheets to create a table, you can either :

    1. Link the table to Google Spreadsheets, when you modify or add new rows, the plugin will show those changes within 15 minutes (since there's cache on Google's side). More details here

If you don't want to face any issues with cache, you can use the Google Sheets API method. ( more details here-)

    2. If you import the file, the plugin reads the source file and creates a manual table. Once the table is created, it is no longer linked to the source file, so changing data in the table will not show up on Google Spreadsheet, and vice-versa.

To modify this table, you can either use our Excel-like view,

for quicker editing from WP end,

also you can select and copy the range of cells you want to paste from the source file, and paste it in the Excel-like view,

or you can update the Manual table via upload of file:

    Please refer to answer 1.
