Hello!
We have "Cohorts" for our tutoring students which are basically classes that meet once, twice, or three times a week.
The goal is for someone to enroll in a Cohort and automatically be registered for all the class meetings of that cohort. The goal also is to be able to create those meetings using the recurring feature.
Currently the recurring events feature creates the class sessions, but the user has to individually register for each one.
Is there any way around this? Any way to have a user register once and be included in all meetings of that Cohort, i.e. they are automatically booked to attend each class session?
Also, is there a way to do this with BOOKINGS as well, where someone would pick their own day and time, but then that day and time would be locked in, multiple recurring sessions created, and they would be automatically registered for each?
Thank you for your help.
–Phillip
Hi, Phillip
Thanks for reaching out to us

1.
Sorry to disappoint you, but the Amelia logic for recurring Events,
it is going to treat each recurring Event as a completely separate booking,
and we don't have any workaround to get a customer to book multiple recurring Events in one go.
-
The only way for Events for a customer to book all of the dates for the Event in one go,
is if you use a multi-day Event, instead of recurring Events.
Here you can see more details explained on the difference between the two - Recurring VS multi-day events
-
2.
In regards to the appointments, I am not sure I understood you completely;
but if you simply wish to allow customers to pick their initial date and time - and then to choose if they wish to make it a recurring appointment, and how many recurrence they need,
you can check out our recurring appointment method here.

Let me know if all that makes sense, and if you have any further questions? Thank you
Kind Regards,
Stanislav Snagovskiy
