We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
I saw someone else with this question on your employee panel youtube video. There doesn't seem to be any built-in settings to change the colours (mainly the background, but ultimately:
... of the employee and customer panels.
I skimmed your docs and didn't see anything about customizing colour either.
Am I basically looking at custom CSS to accomplish this? The default blue is very off-brand.
Couldn't it just pull from the step-by-step booking colours for things like text, buttons at least?
Thanks,
Tyler
Hello Tyler,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The colors of these elements of the employee/customer panel are defined in the global colors section on the Amelia/Customize page.
Please let me know if this worked for you.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Hi Uroš,
What you have sent a screenshot of, I found by choosing the booking v1.0 form (I'm using 2.0). I just read "
so at the moment, only the Step-By-Step booking form will be available, while other forms are still customizable through the old Customize section." Got it. I assumed it was one or the other.
"Use Global Colors" is disabled for me and I feel like that was on purpose - maybe I read something in the docs about that, not sure. If I enable global colors, will it undo what I've set in the step by step 2.0? - I tried on my staging site and it doesn't appear to have affected anything negatively.
Now that I have changed this, I noticed the overlap in the timezone drop-down I've been meaning to point out for some time:
Hey Tyler
Uros is on vacation, so I'll take over this ticket.
Customize 2 and Customize 1 are using different frameworks, so changing the colors of one won't mess up anything in the other.
As for the overlapping icon - can you please provide me with the URL and the login credentials for your employee panel, so I can log in and have a look?
Just make sure to enable the PRIVATE response, since this is a public ticket.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hey Tyler.
There's some cached data (most likely from the theme) that includes 15px of padding:
Since it contains an "!important" clause, it's forcing this padding to be applied to all textareas.
You can try adding this:
But if that doesn't work, you'll need to purge all cache, and see where this CSS is coming from, and remove the padding.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
