4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated
6. Save the translation.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.
This is an example of the French language, but you will choose yours.
Hope this helps.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
You are most welcome. We can not guarantee that 100% but it shouldn't interfere, since you will be translating the strings inside Amelia for a specific language.
I just proceded with the steps you mentioned in your first reply but It didnt work.
Actually I noticed that the string (This package has) was already translated in the file wpamelia-pl_PL.po I had in my server: /wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/pl_PL/.
Anyway I uploaded the new file ".po" from a Amelia zip and also didnt work for me.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thank you for the credentials. The issue has been resolved on your site, and I can't believe how stupid the issue was
Somehow, this string was labeled as "Needs work", which excluded it from the translation:
After I removed the "Needs Work" label, the number of translated strings rose from 1577 to 1578 and after I purged the cache on your site, it came up properly:
We will send the new file to our developers, so it's not messed up again in our next update. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Our developers weren't able to squeeze the fix in 5.4 which was released about an hour ago, so you'll have to do it again.
Once you update the plugin to v5.4, simply download the attachment from my response, and extract the two files in /wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/pl_PL/ folder.
Make sure to purge the cache from your website when you replace the files.
Hello
The project im working on is in Polish. Wordpress language is in Polish.
The problem is: in the booking confirmation step, a part of the static text is in english. All the rest is in Polish, what is good.
Can you please tell me how to fix it?
Hi Juan,
Thank you for your purchase.
Words can be changed using POEDIT example very easily. If you use POEDIT then this is an instruction:
1. Download the Amelia plugin from your your profile in our store and save the .zip file on your computer.
2. Unzip the downloaded .zip file.
3. You need to download and install POEDIT.
4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated
6. Save the translation.
