We have integrated the Amelia plugin on the website "https://dfwselfiemirror.com/" for the appointment module, but before going live we observed that we are not receiving any appointment confirmation emails, we speculated that it might've been a glitch or a server issue and will get fixed after going live but we have received the complaint that the customers are not receiving confirmation emails on their end. Our DevOps team has tested the website many times all the other forms are working but emails from Amelia Plugin are working neither on the Admin end nor on the Employees end.
An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
