please let me know what are features of basic plan. And do I have to pay for the updates after one year. Will I be able to extend support later on? Do I have to buy additional packages for full features including custom field? What does mean by `Packages of Services`

Thank you for expressing interest in the Amelia plugin.
If you purchase a yearly license, you will have the option to update a plugin for a year and also you will have premium support. After a year, you will still be able to use Amelia without updates or support. All of the licenses in Amelia have the same features except the fact that Pro and Developer licenses have Packages and WhatsApp integration features included.

It allows you to create a package that will include one or more services and appointments for those services. So, with the Basic license, you'd be able to create services and sell appointments one by one. The Packages feature (which is included only in Pro and Developer license plans) allows you to create a Package for (for example) one service, and 10 appointments within that package.
The duration you set is for the package while the appointments within a package are defined by the "Period available for booking" in Amelia's General Settings or individual settings of a service. So, if you sell a package with 10 appointments, and set the duration of the package to be 1 year, your customers will have 1 year to book those 10 appointments.
However, the appointments within a package can be booked as far ahead as you configured the "Period available for booking in advance" in Amelia's General Settings, or individual service setting. For example, if this is set to 30 days, at the time when an appointment is being booked, the customers will be able to choose the dates 30 days from TODAY. Defining the duration of the package doesn't define the availability of appointments.

Do I have to purchase a theme? or Does this plugin come with a theme? Also, Is there a list of the popular compatible themes which support to amelia plugin?
If I want, can I extend the support/update feature later on?

The plugin does not come with a theme. All of the themes are compatible with Amelia, but with the nature of WordPress, there could be a conflict that we could resolve if it occurs in your case.
In regards to the renewal, the license will automatically be renewed unless you cancel it.

Is it possible to cancel or rebook appointments for the registered users? Also, I want users to upload files where admin can approve or reject.
Would that be possible to show the status (or comment regarding booking) of the booking on the user's/customer dashboard?

You will be able to change the status of the customer's booking and the customers will be able to see the status of their booking on the customer panel.
