Hello,
Before purchasing this plugin I need information if this is possible because my client is pretty strict in his needs, even though the current version is much better...
When making a line chart (with multiple lines/columns) I need the default state of these lines to be turned off without the crossed line on the legend.
And then by clicking on each of them, activate the wanted line on the graph each by each.
I am using the canvas.js engine on the chart.
Here is an image for a better understanding.
How can I do this?
Hi, Renata
Thanks for showing interest in wpDataTables.
-
Every chart engine has its own layout and its settings.
We use free libraries for chart engines, and they are limited as to what we can change from within the plugin's UI.
You can check out all the available chart engines and examples of wpDataCharts documentation here :
Examples of tables and charts;
Charts.JS
HighCharts
Google charts
Apex charts
If the options you need are not in the chart creation wizard, you can try to find a custom solution using chart callbacks.
-
In this case, by default, all the lines will show on load for charts, and on click they will be hidden,
so we don't have a built-in option to set the default state of the lines to be hidden on load,
but it is possible to achieve this by using wpDataChart callbacks.
-
You can check our documentation about wpDataCharts callbacks.
-
Let me know if you have any questions.
And, just wanted to point out that we have a Demo Sandbox site, where you can try out the plugin functionalities, on this link
and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period, So if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period. ( same goes for all plugins and add-ons)
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
