I am trying to use fully HTML/CSS email templates however I keep having issues with the built in editor and presumably SQL injection sanitization from the templates being stored in the database.
Is there any option or roadmap item to allow the use of external HTML files for email templates?
For the benefit of others I'm going to add the responses to this thread as since posting I have noticed this crops up quite a lot in the forums, and the auto-reply on messenger chat was the reason i opened the ticket!
Ash: Is there any option to use HTML email templates rather than storing them in the database?

Amelia Support:Hello, there is an option to edit a template in HTML mode, but the notification template will have to be stored into a database.
Ash:Thankyou for getting back to me, I've had a look at the HTML editor however it removes all the standard email formatting tags like tables and some <p> tags and results in pretty much just a rich text email to my clients - not what modern customers expect from a legitimate company! I've resorted to directly adding my email templates into the database using SQL - really shouldn't have to be doing this on a paid for plugin when stuff like mailpoet can design a fully featured rich html email for free!
Amelia Support:Hello Ash, thank you for clearing that up and for providing us with a feedback. I will have this passed to our developers so we can work on this to be improved for one of the future updates. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
