Hello my Amelia friends, it's me again. :)
I have customized Amelia to work for our pet-services business and continue to be amazed at how powerful and customizable it is. I have discovered a couple of features that don't work as intended, and I have tickets out about those. This email is to see if perhaps there is another element of flexibility I am missing.
I have a number of services across multiple categories. One of the categories I have is an admin-only collection of services and packages, that I don't want to display except to admins. But otherwise, I want the user to be able to choose from the various other categories of services.
I am using the shortcode [ameliastepbooking] to display the booking form. [ameliastepbooking category=1] Doesn't work for me because i do want the customer to be able to pick from a variety of categories. What I really want is to be able to display [ameliastepbooking category=1,2,3,4] but that doesn't seem to work.
I also use Ultimate Member which allows me to restrict access to content based on user level. In this way I can display a different booking form for my admins than my customer. But for customers I need to display every category EXCEPT 1. It does me no good to display either ALL categories or just 1 category. Is it possible to display multiple categories but not all categories in the new step booking form?
Hello Lindsay,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features.
You can display either all categories or only one category. Unfortunately, it is not possible to display several specific categories or every category except one.
You can suggest that feature on the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/
We carefully follow suggestions from our customers and the more vote the feature gets, the more priority we put on implementing that feature in one of the future updates.
If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to open a new ticket, and we'll gladly help.
Have a nice day!
Kind Regards,
Stanislav Snagovskiy
