Hi. I'm trying to add a customer to a class today (20th September) by creating an appointment for them, but am only given the date option for next week rather than this week (and the following 2 weeks as per my settings). The class is every Tuesday at 18:25...
Can you please check your employee working hours, special days, days off and ask them to check their calendar if they have those days set as busy in the calendar (you can send us the screenshots) because as far as we can see the only time when your employee is available is on 27-th?
That is the problem... Classes can been booked just fine using the booking system, yet when I tried to add someone to the class yesterday, I was unable to
If not, we can inspect your setup, and isolate the issue for you.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
And point out what is the Service Name, and the employee in question. Thank you
Yes, that setting is active and still getting the issue. In this case it's only letting me book a past slot... (trying to add to 3rd October), which as you can see from the images is available to book.
I've also tried deactivating plug-ins to see if there is some incompatibility but haven't found it so far.
- I think i see what's happening from your screenshot.
It seems that you wish to add additional customers in an existing Appointment that still has free capacity slots, by creating a New Appointment from the back-end?
It will not work this way.
- Basically, when a customer books an appointment, this appointment is already created;
if we need to add additional customers into it from the back-end,
we have to edit this appointment, then add other customers into it :
-
- But, if a customer comes to book from the front-end, they can select the same time slot, as long as there are free capacity slots remaining in the Group appointment.
Because from the front-end, Amelia will just add them to the existing appointment automatically,
on the other hand, from the back-end, if we say "create a new appointment", Amelia thinks we want to start a completely new appointment, rather than adding customers to an existing one.
This is the current Amelia's logic for adding people to make group appointments from the back-end,
but if you have any suggestions on how we might improve that,
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

Let me know if that makes sense, and if you have any questions.

Hi ,Alex
Sorry for the delay
If this is a Group appointment, can you check if this is enabled,
in the Appointment settings in Amelia settings/Appointment settings/ Allow booking below minimum capacity.
If you disable this setting, that means that if one customer books a time-slot, no other customer will be able to book with them in the same time slot
- the slot gets closed right away, even though there might be some capacity left.
- You can see more details about how this works here.
Let me know if that might resolve the issue?
