I have a number of packages set up for the pilates classes on my sites with people able to book 6 or 12 appointments to get a discount. At the moment if they book a 6 package they have to add each date separately. Is there a way for the system to automatically select the the next sessions as a recurring appointment? I have tried to follow your instructions for setting up recurring appointments but it hasn't worked.
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. Recurring appointments and packages are separate features, and with packages, customers must choose the date and time when they want to have the appointment. This is not possible to achieve with packages I'm afraid.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
- With Packages, as colleague Marko said, currently it is not possible to set any kind of recurring appointments, the customers can choose their appointments at any available time slots of the employees work schedule.
Only in the Service settings ( services included in the Package), you can set the available time ahead that they can choose,
but they can still choose from any time slot within this timeframe.

If you wish to see a new feature that would allow recurring appointments in Packages,
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

Let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks
It would be great to be able to purchase a package of 5 , 10 or 15 bookings and then just set then as recurring.
I don't think any client would be happy to make 15 bookings week after week.
I'm guessing this is not something that could be easily custom coded ?
Is there any workaround perhaps for a scenerio where clients buy a package of lessons (usually 15). Lessons are planned at the same weekday and time and they would have to be initially booked ahead. Could this be somehow done from the backend, for example a client buys a package and we book lessons in bulk?
As more users request/vote for it, it will become higher on our priority list for the future.
Of course, if you have other ideas how we might improve the plugin, please don't hesitate to create your own suggestions, and we will do our best to create solutions for it.

For the question is this easily custom coded, I honestly don't know if it is possible and is it easily coded.
If you wish to make a query, we can only recommend to reach out to someone like WP Kraken Team, they do custom solutions,
so they will be able to tell you if it's possible, and how difficult it would be.
But we can't advise on their pricing.

Regarding your question for the workaround use-case,
I am sorry but I did not fully understand the described situation.
We do have the possibility for Packages to be purchased, booked/managed from the back-end,
so generally speaking you can book Package, and appointments from a Package for customers on back-end.
if not, please elaborate a bit more on this use-case,
when the appointments need to be already booked ahead - but I assume that the customer has to somehow pay for it, so I am a bit confused on that point.

Hi, Robert
Yes, we had several users ask for recurring payment solutions such as this,
for example recurring Package,
and also recurring appointments in a Package, ( both are currently not possible)
, so we have this option in scope for our developers,
but I can't say an exact ETA when they might work on it, and there are lots of unpredictable factors that can postpone development.
I have found a couple of suggestions already made on our suggestions page,
if you'd like you can upvote this one , on this page, it is for possibility of recurring appointments in a Package;
we also have another one here - for recurring payments https://features.wpamelia.com/1007.
As more users request/vote for it, it will become higher on our priority list for the future.
Of course, if you have other ideas how we might improve the plugin, please don't hesitate to create your own suggestions, and we will do our best to create solutions for it.

Here are more details on how managing Packages on back-end works.
Let me know if that helped,
