I know that on previous tickets we spoke about and you mentioned that you have other clients using Amelia to do equipment bookings.
Have they figured out or is there a work-around for adding more than one piece of equipment to a single booking?
In other words. If a client wants to book out a chainsaw, a drill and a grinder. Do they have to go make 3 bookings or is there a way for them to add all 3 to one booking?
For that purpose, you could use the "Extras for services" feature in Amelia.
Extras – Extras allow you the possibility to add additional services or products customers can buy when they are scheduling an appointment. By clicking on the “Add Extra” button, new options will appear:

but the extras doesn’t have the feature to do “inventory”. I can’t say there are only 5 of these so once, over all the sevices, clients have chosen 5, that extra is no longer available. Also, the equipment is loaded as employees, thus making it possible to actually book the piece of equipment out and then bot have it available for other people to book in that time. So in essence, i need to add more than 1 employee (or in this case piece of equipment) to one booking.
At the moment, that is not possible, as we will add a feature in the future for both "Multiple employees per appointment" and "Multiple services booking at the same time".

that will be perfect. I hope the ETA on that is soon. It’s one of the 2 last things i still need in order to give my client the perfect system. The other one is the ability to add extras in the same manner as services, so in various categories and with quantities that can be monitored and controlled across the various services.
