Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Basically, the current behavior, if an employee hits "forgot password", and then clicks the email placeholder "%employee_panel_url%" , the employee gets logged into the Panel,
then we have to go to Employee Profile to change the password.
-
But you would prefer that, when employee goes to "forgot password", that the Email placeholder leads right to the "Change Password" Modal, right?
To be honest, I agree with you, I think this should be the default behaviour.
- I will check with our QA Team what is the current behaviour, on our Test sites,
and I will report back to confirm it for you.
( For the Customer Panel, I can confirm that it does redirect directly to "New Password Modal" - we will check why it is different for employee "forgot password" process)
It was quicker than expected, we can confirm this right away.
Basically, our developers have double-checked the behaviour for "Forgot password" for the Customer Panel, and it is behaving as expected - the placeholder leads straight to the "Change Password" Modal;
-
But for the employee Panel "forgot password" process, we are not sure what happened,
but we will fix that it goes correctly to "Change Password" modal.
We will make a task for the developers, and they will do their best to fix this for the Employee Panel, as soon as possible.
It should be fixed in one of the upcoming updates, but I can't guarantee an exact ETA.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Hello,
we have the problem, that the password cant set back of the employee panel. in the customer panel it is no problem.
What can we do?
Kind regards
Sebastian
