Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Is there a direct way for employees to manage schedule on front-end?

Hi, I've been told by every single employee and person that has tried to create their schedule on the front end how difficult and counterintuitive the user experience is when trying to enter their schedule. Is there a direct way to go straight into entering their schedule? A shortcode or even a code snippet or clues to help me do this would be appreciated.

This is by far the most used feature by my employees and the fact they hate to enter their hours into Amelia says something. They are non-tech people. I see why they say that because it takes about 4-5 clicks just to get to the part to enter their hours.

(Click on page with shortcode for dashboard->click on dropbox next to their image->click on Profile->click on Special Days->click on the day they need to edit.)

It would be great if you could make it as easy as the frontend booking forms with the nice styling but for the purpose of creating schedules.

If you had a code that directly goes to the employee scheduling that I could use or insight on how to help me do this, I would appreciate it. I think I suggested this about 10 months ago.

    Thank you,

    Jeremy

    Hi, Jeremy

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    -

We are truly sorry, but at this time we don't have any alternative workaround or custom code to change the way how the hours are input for the employees - we got only one way to do it, and it is exactly as you described it.

But I can see what you mean, and I will pass this feedback to our management and our developers, to see If we can push improvements in this area.

We will do our best to come up with improvements to make this more user-friendly as soon as possible.

Since you already suggested this before, i won't bother you with the "suggestions page" , but i will rather just pass the feedback and will do my best to push this on our priority list as high as possible.

I can't say an ETA on it, though, but

    you can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    Kind Regards,

    Miloš Jovanović
