Packages not displaying on booking form

I recently 'hid' the service packages from displaying on my booking form because I was using the old form. I then configured the new form 2.0 and enabled the package to be shown again, but it's not picking it up at all on either the old or the new booking form. I then tested by inserting the shortcode on a test page to show the packages steps via [ameliastepbooking show=packages] and even though it shows the Packages form, it still does not list any active packages. I currently have 3 service packages that are configured, and none of them are showing on the site.

I cleared the WP cache and it didn't help. I tried loading the form in an incognito window in Chrome, and that also didn't help.

    What am I missing?

Now the booking form is not showing up on the website homepage either. The only shortcode that is currently working is the customer panel one. The booking form, both 1.0 and 2.0 are both not loading, even though they are showing up in the theme preview when selecting to Customise the theme.

Everything else on my site is loading correctly. Any idea what might have gone wrong?

I need urgent feedback on this please. The moment I use the [ameliastepbooking] shortcode, the form doesn't load, but when I use the [ameliabooking] shortcode for the old 1.0 form, it loads.

    Please see https://zaidismail.com/book-online for this.

When the WP support engineer created a new sample page for the [ameliastepbooking] shortcode, with no other content on that page, it loads.

See https://zaidismail.com/?page_id=21659 for the test page that was created.

When I insert the shortcode for [ameliacatalog show=packages], nothing loads for that shortcode.

And when I book an appointment for a service that has an active package against it, it doesn't display the package option.

    Please advise.

I can't afford the downtime, so I've reverted to using the booking form 1.0 until this is resolved.

But I still don't have access to the packages from the front end.

Can I please get more urgency in resolving this issue? I sent the requested admin rights four days ago and the invitation has yet to be accepted!

    This is getting ridiculous.

Just tried it from both a mobile device and my laptop, using both a regular tab in Chrome and an Incognito Tab, and the packages are still not showing up when I select a service that has active packages against it when using the step booking form 1.0.

But it shows up on the 2.0 form.

However, the moment I insert two shortcodes on the same page, including [ameliacustomerpanel appointments=1 events=1] and [ameliastepbooking], neither of the forms load.

I need a simpler user experience, hence including both forms on one page so that if someone has a package that they purchased, they don't have to remember to go to the Customer Portal to access their sessions available on the package. Because if they book directly from the booking form, it doesn't deduct it from the remaining sessions on the package.

This is an unnecessary complexity in the user journey when booking an appointment.

Hence the need to include the customer portal and the booking form on the same page.

    Please advise.

P.S. As per previous feedback on this ticket, the WordPress support team also confirmed this bug through their investigations and could not explain why it shows up in the page preview, but not after the page is published to the live front end.

I managed to book successfully using the v2.0 booking form.

Given the volume of issues with managing appointments against a Service Package, I sincerely hope that the feedback provided to date will be prioritised for the next release of the plugin.

This is really tainting the experience from a customer perspective, and is also tedious from an administrative perspective in managing client appointments.

The default date range to list packages when the Manage Package option is selected is a further unnecessary complication. It should simply list ALL ACTIVE packages and hide packages that have no remaining credits against it.

Ideally, when I select a customer's profile when booking an appointment, it should simply prompt me with active packages against that customer's name so that I can opt to book against their package or as a single appointment, without having to jump through hoops between different screens to book an appointment from a package.

I sincerely hope that the issues around packages are prioritised for resolution.

    Thanks.

    Hello Zaid,

Thank you for reaching back out to us.

In regards to using both 1.0 and 2.0 booking forms on the same page, that is currently not possible as both of these forms are using different versions of Vue.js which causes a conflict. Thus, we would suggest that you use them on separate pages. I have passed the suggestions for the packages of services feature improvements.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi,

I'm assuming that you're referring to the Customer Portal form being a 1.0 form, because I'm obviously not using both booking forms on the same page.

If so, when will your dev team be ensuring that all forms are on the same architecture so that the customer experience is not negatively impacted.

Amelia has great functionality. Unfortunately the user experience is not as intuitive as it needs to be, which undermines the value of the solution.

The current backend booking (against a package) is very confusing and definitely needs improvement. I understand that package-backend-booking is a very new feature and it's good to have it available now. However, now it's the time to make the process more intuitive.
