Please could you help? My customers receive notification that their order will be delivered to our shop address rather than their home or chosen address. Can you show me how to fix this please? I can’t figure out how to do it. Thank you
Hello, Thank you. I get people saying they’ve received an email to say their goods will be delivered to 56 Gallowgate Street, Largs. This is in fact the address of our business. I tried myself and the same thing happens. I enclose a screenshot of my order and then the follow up email I was referring to. I hope I just made a mistake in the email configuration but I can’t find where. Thanks Susan
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
This issue has been escalated to highest urgency, since you've waited so long already.
Just to clarify some points.
1. I read the entire ticket from the start again. Just to make sure we understand,
you don't wish to send your Location address in the Notification, you would rather that the customer inputs their Adress, and to get the customer address, as "the delivery address", right?
Amelia does not have a way to know the customer's address,
so i see that you have added this Custom Field, for customers to input their address :
The "Adress for delivery", right?
-
Now, you have to make a placeholder that will pass what the customer fills in here;
through a Custom Field placeholder in the Notification template.
-
So instead of using location address placeholder ( which is your location),
please select the correct Custom Field placeholder, to grab the customer's input for the desired Adress.
Here is my example.
Let's say i got this Custom Field as Text input.
Now i go to my Notification template for "Appointment approved", and add this placeholder for this Custom Field :
First we find which custom field it is in the available placeholders, and paste it as part of the Notification:
In my case it is custom field 1, so i add %custom_field_1% to the notification:
So, please hover your mouse over the Custom Fields placeholders, check which Label you need for the custom field : Adress for Delivery , click,
and paste it in the Notification.
Then the customer should see the address which they input as Delivery Adress, rather than your Location Adress.
Let me know if i understood the goal correctly, and when you do this, it should be fixed?
Hello, Thank you for explaining to me. I’ve managed to stop the email giving our shop address but I’m not managing to input the client’s address. Not sure what I’m doing wrong!
I can check your setup , and we will see what seems to be wrong.

Dear Susan,
You are welcome,
Most likely some of these placeholders are set in your appointment approved template in Amelia > Notifications:
And you can change the location address in Amelia > Locations:
Let me know if it helps,
Look forward to your reply.
Have a nice day!
