I am disappointed with this plugin because I have found it so complicated to do just basic things.
My client hosts 5 cooking classes a week, sometimes at irregular times. I try to set these up as services, because they mostly recur at the same time/day (with occasionally one-off classes), and so that a multi-session can be purchased. This is why I didn't configure her classes as events, because it does not let you multibook events at all.
However, it is so difficult setting *each* class on *specific* times of day.
Let's say she hosts two different classes on the same day, class one: 10am-11am, and the second class: 4pm-5pm. Because her employee hours have to cover the whole day, it means customers will be able to book one of the classes at any time slot between 11am and 5pm, when really there are two available ones. And the services end up being available at both times, instead of one for each time.
Why can't you pick the specific days and times for each service manually, rather than having to configure employee hours, set days off, and blank out all the times you're unavailable? A solution would be to create a new employee for each service, except I can't do that because it requires a new email address for each one.
The services functionality is very poor for businesses who have specific timeslots in the day, rather than all-day availability.
Please let me know if there is something I am missing out on, I did find the support very helpful here last time but unfortunately am not happy with Amelia so far
Thank you for reaching out to us and really sorry to hear that you feel that way about the Amelia plugin.
For your purpose, and for the nature of irregular time slots and available dates, I would suggest that you use the "Special days" feature, where you are able to set available time slots for specific dates for specific services.
