I have this client who recently changed from Youcanbookme to Amelia. Most things are going well, but there is one thing she misses in Amelia:
When a customer wants a new appointment at the end of a session, I have the habit of looking for a date with him or her and recording the appointment by clicking on the appointment of the current session within my google calendar and then choosing to "duplicate" and simply adjust the date and time. In this way, the appointment with all its details ends up in my diary.
With You Can Book Me, an e-mail was automatically sent to the customer stating the new appointment and that they also received a reminder e-mail 24 hours before the new appointment.
Would something like that also be possible with Amelia and how?
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.
Amelia works in the following way. During the conversation with the client, you can create a new appointment on the back and your client will immediately receive a notification about that appointment. If you synchronized Google Calendar with Amelia, that appointment will appear in your calendar.
As for the reminder e-mail 24 hours before the new appointment, you can achieve that in Amelia with the help of cron. Cron is not Amelia feature, it is a WordPress feature and you can set everything in your WordPress. In the Amelia notifications section, you can find reminder notifications that work via cron.

Hello Laurent,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you provide me with screenshots of how this looks like in Youcanbookme?
The best thing would be to shoot a video of your screen.
So I could better assist you.
Look forward to your reply.
Have a great weekend!
Kind Regards,
Stanislav Snagovskiy

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
However, the subscription of youcanbookme is over since we use Amelia.
I cannot say how it worked, but it looks that my customer could easily duplicate an appointment from her gmail calendar.
Could you do anything with this info? Sorry I cannot provide anymore details.
Laurent
