In your documentation (referenced in the related URL), you refer to providing nine Placeholders for general variables, specifically: %VAR1%, %VAR2%, %VAR3%, %VAR4%, %VAR5%, %VAR6%, %VAR7%, %VAR8%, %VAR9%.
However, the only variables that have places to put in default values in your interface are %VAR1%, %VAR2%, %VAR3%.
How do we make the other six (%VAR4% through %VAR9%) work? If we use them in a table query, we'll need to set a default value, won't we? I don't believe you application will accept our query (using the "Save" button), without setting default values?
Also, related:... can we use some of the other Placeholders for things that suit us, but don't correspond necessarily to what you're intending them to be for? For example, I'm quite sure I'll never need to use %CURRENT_USER_LAST_NAME%. Can I use it for something else than a last name? These other placeholders (which easily can have their default values set) might become useful for me.
In the past, we only had 3 placeholders (%VAR1%, %VAR2%, %VAR3%), but in one of the past updates, the other 6 other placeholders were added to the plugin. Can you please update the wpDataTables plugin to the latest version (4.5) and let us know if that worked for you or not?

Unfortunately, that is currently not possible with the wpDataTables plugin as it can only be used for the last name at the moment

Bottom line: I need more than three Placeholders.
Hello David,
Thank you for reaching out to us.

Looking forward to your reply.
