We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Greetings,
I have a table populated by entries from a gravity form (I am also using the gravity forms addon for wpdatatables). One of the form fields is "Lot Number". The lot number is also a meta value on the post (created via Pods). I have a beautiful table built using the gravity form as the data source and then some conditional formatting, but it shows all entries, including those for old lots.
I would like to filter the table somehow to only show results for the most recent lot number. Lots usually span multiple days, so date filtering is problematic. Via conditional formatting in the column, I can input a number for the current lot and set a custom css class to the row and hide the row, but I want to automate this and pull the current lot value somehow to automatically filter the data.
So, two prongs to this, as I see it. If using the gravity form as a data source for the table, is there a way to filter that based on lot number?
Alternatively, I experimented with using an SQL query to pull the data from gravity forms, but I was unable to separate out the meta values of the table into separate columns. If there was a way to pull form fields and format the table properly via an SQL query, then I could probably use a WHEN function to filter by the current lot number.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much!
Hello Frank,
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, this is currently not possible with the wpDataTables plugin. We carefully follow customers' requirements and try to implement most of them if they appear in requests from time to time, so we will add them to our idea list and look into some possible solutions on the plugin side in the future.
We constantly strive to make our product better, and deliver the most value for our end users - so please share your feedback on what features you need on this link.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
