We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I saw in a previous ticket somewhere that to make my search bar full width, all i need to do is the following under custom CSS:
.wpdt-c .wpDataTablesWrapper .dataTables_filter label input[type="search"],
.wpdt-c .wpDataTablesWrapper .dataTables_filter label,
.wpdt-c .wpDataTablesWrapper .dataTables_filter{width:100% !important;}
I put this in and saved, but its not clearly a search bar for the user.
1. How do I add further customization to this search bar?
Secondly, I would like to hide all filters, and have a checkbox that the user can check that asks "enable advanced filters", which then pops up all my filters. I would like to do this for simplicity sake, since the user is often overwhelmed by the amount of filters (although its important to have all of them"
2. How do I add a button on the table that the user can check to enable or disable the filters?
Hello Neil,
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
Thank you for reaching out to us.
1. Can you please provide us with the screenshot of the search bar that you are referring to we will provide you with an update on this?
2. Unfortunately, this is currently not possible with the wpDataTables plugin. We carefully follow customers' requirements and try to implement most of them if they appear in requests from time to time, so we will add them to our idea list and look into some possible solutions on the plugin side in the future.
We constantly strive to make our product better, and deliver the most value for our end users - so please share your feedback on what features you need on this link.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
