    Hi

    In the plugin section, it says there is an update; however, it also says - Auto update is unavailable for this plugin (please see in the image attached). Even though I enabled auto update yesterday, which is more than 12 hours, it still says -  Automatic update is scheduled in 7 hours - yesterday it was 10 hours, and today still 7 hours.

    Hello Marko

    Thank you for your reply and explanation. I understood all the steps mentioned, except a few questions on the points below:

    1.  If you're using WordPress 5.8+, you'll be able to go to the Plugins section/Add New, and upload the file you previously downloaded.

    I have WordPress 6.0.1, will above criteria apply?

    2. After the plugin is installed, activate it, 

    After I activate, will I have all my previous services and their settings there or I have to do everything again?

    3. and make sure to purge all cache from your website.

    Could you please explain how to do this?

    In my plugin section, it doesn't now show any update required or any other notification. Does it mean my plugin is updated or I still have to do what you advised?

    I know it's advised to ask a new question in a new ticket, but could I please ask something new here please?

    - Do you have any option for the balance payment in Amelia - for deposit option? For example, if a customer paid deposit, what is the option to pay the balance? 

    If currently, there is no option, I believe it should be added as a new feature - you may like to consider. This will be a very good option rather than paying on site. This will be extra work for admin to create a balance payment either cash or other online payment options - PayPal or Stripe.

    1. I have WordPress 6.0.1, will above criteria apply? - Yes

    2. After I activate, will I have all my previous services and their settings there or I have to do everything again? - everything will be there but make sure to go to Amelia Settings/Activation, and make sure that the "Delete Amelia content" slider is disabled. 

    3. You install some caching plugin like W3TotalCache and purge the cache with this plugin.

    4. In my plugin section, it doesn't now show any update required or any other notification. Does it mean my plugin is updated or I still have to do what you advised?- If you have the 5.2 version than you have he latest version, but it is always recommended to purge the cache after the update.

    5. - Do you have any option for the balance payment in Amelia - for deposit option? For example, if a customer paid deposit, what is the option to pay the balance? 

    If currently, there is no option, I believe it should be added as a new feature - you may like to consider. This will be a very good option rather than paying on site. This will be extra work for admin to create a balance payment either cash or other online payment options - PayPal or Stripe. - Amelia itself doesn't handle the payments but we have integration with several payment systems such as: PayPal, Mollie, Stripe, WooCommerce and RazorPay. So for that reason we do not have balance. You can charge the deposit we do have option for that but that will go to your account not in Amelia's balance.

    I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page

    Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

    I see there is a new update, 5.3. Could you please let me know where to get the updated files from. Last time you sent me through the support ticket. 

    This information is also not available in documentation.

    Does it mean, in my account, there will be always the updated file, not the old version?

    In WordPress, the automatic update is enabled, but it says - "Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin."

    You previously mentioned that the big update can only be updated manually.

    I'll follow the steps to update the plugin.

    Hello Varun,

    Yes, you will always download the latest version from your profile in our store.

    As for automatic download, this is due to your settings in WordPress, you can change that.

    Regarding the update yes that is correct but only when there is a big update like the new booking form just like we had with 2.0 it doesn't apply to these smaller updates.

    As I mentioned in my previous message, I already applied automatic update in the wordpress but it still says - "Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin." even for this update, which you say is not the big one.

    Any idea why?
