Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

Upon further research I have found they say that when plugins and WP updates it can throw away any translated words and reverts to the default language pack. The workaround for this is to cope the language file i want to translate into a different "safe" folder that won't be affected by future updates. I am busy doing this now and doing a few translations to see if it works, because my concern is, how does the plugin know to use THAT language pack then. OR, I can simply sync my translated language pack with the plugin's language pack, but after a plugin update it will revert again, but at least now I have my translated pack and just sync it again. The problem with this is, what if the plugin updates and i only realize 5 days later before I sync, so for 5 days the site runs with the incorrect wording for certain items.
So i you have a workaround for this....that would be great...
Thank you for your patience, that is how it works, Loco Translate either changes the source file which is overwritten by the update of the Amelia plugin or it stores it somewhere and it can be used to overwrite our file later on.
When you finish translating, it would be nice to send us the translation, so we can include it in our next major update so you don't have to copy this folder from the local machine on every update.
The translation is not to translate to a language, but rather to change words in your current plugin. Like, i changes appointments to bookings, employees to tents and services to categories, as the site is used for equipment rental, to a tent doesn't have an appointment, it has a booking. So for everything to display correctly to my clients I had to change more words that simply the ones the form builder allows me to change.
So my "translation" won't assist you guys in future releases, unless you bring in equipment rental as a separate function, which I hear you guys are working on currently.
Unfortunately, that is how it will work as the changes will be overwritten with each update. We are working on a "Resources" feature and it should be implemented in the next few updates, but there is no ETA at the moment.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
