I have a step by step booking form on a popup on my homepage and its showing broken when the popup is first opened as shown in the screenshot, the calendar is not properly showing. I have the another booking form that is not a popup and works fine.
Can you please tell me how I can initialize the JS to load the form correctly on popup?
I have also noticed that if I have multiple booking forms on a page, the same issue with js initializing persists.
- I can see what you mean, as soon as i hit the popup button, the issue manifested itself.
But something curious happened, by accident. As i open the developer console of the Chrome browser;
if i just slightly expand the browser console upwards > the issue stops, quite odd - as if it has something to do with window size.
Here is a video of the behaviour, as attachment.
I am passing this to our QA Team, they might have an advise, what's the best way to tackle this issue.
- As soon as they advise, i will report back.
Could you perhaps try something in the meantime;
It is possible that this is some kind of a conflict between Amelia and another plugin on your site, or the current theme.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved?
If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin,
purge all cache of the site, then refresh the page where the issue is, and see if the issue stops.
If it does, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue comes back.
Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
-
Please let me know if you isolated a possible conflict;
If not, i can take a remote look for you.
-
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
And i forgot to ask - do you have the latest Amelia version, 5.2 ?
If not, please update your plugin - since we had a small bug with Elementor's latest version - but our devs have implemented a fix, so I'm thinking it might be related to that.

If you opted out from using the popup, there's no need for us to log into your site, but if you still want us to check it out, can you create a page that's not available to the public and send it to us, so we can check it out? On that page, you could include the Elementor popup (just tell us what it's called), and we'll see what we can do.
What I see on your booking page is a step-by-step form with 12 services available:
The form itself works pretty fast, and I haven't noticed any slowness. You can use different shortcodes, though, that would be filtered, like:
[ameliastepbooking category=1]
[ameliastepbooking category=2]
[ameliastepbooking category=3]
But that will also load the form 3 times, which could result in longer loading times of the same page. Maybe if you could create 3 different pages for each category, and then add 3 buttons on your home page, so your users know what they're booking straight away.
- We can see what you mean, so at the moment on the home page, you made these three buttons to load three different variations of the Pop Ups for different Packages :
So if a user clicks on "Sedan", "Suv & Trucks", or "7 Seater" > then that element/section changes into different 3 buttons > each with its own pop-up, that holds a shortcode for a specific Package on each button...
-
If i understand, the ideal goal for you would be to create one Form - but for this to be pre-filled differently/dynamically for users when they click a button?
- At the moment, our shortcodes are only fixed, we can not make any conditional/dynamic logic for them.
So, we can only make one shortcode per button > and you can only pre-fil it with fixed selection,
such as
[ameliastepbooking category=1] if you want to show only the services from a category with ID 1,
or
[ameliastepbooking service=1] if you want to show the booking form for the service with ID 1.
-
But maybe i misunderstood, could you elaborate a bit more on what you meant by having one form on the homepage where you would pre-fil the category / or service for the user when they click a button?
Yes you definitely got that right, I see that currently it isn't possible so I will opt to create different pages for each service and link from homepage button to that page. But in the future if an update like that where we can dynamically change the category/service when a button is clicked that would be amazing.
Yes, it is like this at the moment, but our developers love good suggestions, and i truly believe this would be absolutely awesome if they can make something like that soon.
I know they will do their best. I will pass a note for their attention, but it will be great if you can add a suggestion from your end;
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

Hi Milos,
Yes I am using Amelia 5.9, but that didn't seem to fix the issue.
However I have instead opted for a modal panel instead of a popup and the issue seems to be gone.
Thank you.

Hi Aleksandar,
The booking page located at https://elixirautodetailing.com/booking page is fine and fast since there's only one form located on that page.
However I have 9 different individual service forms on the homepage that is adding the following requests to my homepage, please see screenshot below.
In an ideal world I would like to have one form on the homepage where I can pre-fil the category/service for the user when they click on a button.
