Every once in a while Amelia/WooCommerce throws a fatal error that prevents a customer from checking out. This happened yesterday, and a customer reached out to me with the attached screenshot of his cart. He was logged into the website (he had a Wordpress user assigned to him), but it does not appear that Amelia created an "Amelia customer" role for him, because later when I created his appointments manually, I first had to create him as a customer.
I've also attached the "fatal error" log found in WooCommerce/Status/Logs. I search on the word "fatal." This has happened maybe 4 to 5 times in the past few weeks, and if the customer doesn't reach out to me, I don't even know that it's happening. I'm sure that it's causing customers to leave the site without making a purchase - a big deal. :-(
After doing some debugging with the plugin File Editor, It seems like it’s missing specific customer data which is throwing a “Data not found” error in the logs. Specifically if I follow the stack trace in the logs, the very first issue it runs into is locating the customer ID. So for some reason, the customer information seems to not be passing through for certain customers.
I do wonder if each of the customers that have had this issue have something in common with their customer profile.
Or if each customer running into this is running into this issue when they select a certain scheduling option.
I also wonder if the version of Wordpress is causing conflicts with Amelia. Currently the Wordpress version is 6.0.1, and the Amelia plugin is tested and “compatible” up to 6.0.
Yes, this is a specific bug for WooCommerce - it is caused by adding anything to change the default MetaData that is sent; in Amelia settings/ Payment settings / MetaData for WooCommerce; ( before the latest Amelia version it was working, but this is something that just happened for latest version);
Our developers made a fix, and they will implement it in the upcoming update;
we are just quickly sending it now, to any users who report this issue.
We have responded to your private ticket - so my colleague has sent the fix to you, as well.
Please let us know how it goes- we will follow the case on your ticket.

Hi there,
I have the same problem on one of our websites. For some reason the replies on this ticket are private. Has there been any solution for this?
Thanks in advance!
