We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
When configuring the packages, there appears to be a limitation that causes problems. This is related to the issue of not being able to flag an appointment as a virtual appointment as per a separate ticket that was logged.
The workaround that was recommended was to create a duplicate service for the same service, but to rename it to indicate it as virtual. I did that. However, when configuring a package where a client may schedule a combination of either virtual or on-site sessions, the package config forces me to select the number of appointments per service. This means that I have to force the client up front to only have an option for x number of sessions in either the on-site or virtual formats, but I can't give them the option to have any combination of the two that just adds up to the total of 5 sessions as per the intended package amount.
This imposes a restriction on my package offering that is not feasible for how my business operates. The client must be able to buy (in this case) 5 sessions as a package, and then when scheduling it, choose to have any of them either on-site or virtually.
Unless we can flag the appointment as virtual, and then have only a single service and not the duplicated service items as a workaround, I don't see how the package configuration can work any other way.
I hope that makes sense.
Please let me know if there may be a config option that I'm missing or misunderstanding.
Thanks.
Hello Zaid,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We now have a new option in the Total Number of Appointments packages.
With this option, you can choose the total number of appointments that you offer in the package, and your customers will be able to combine them as they wish.
If you don't see that option, please download the latest Amelia from our store and purge the cache afterwards.
Hope this helps.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
