My data table selects from a database view. While I can filter on view columns that map to actual table columns, I cannot filter on a view column that is derived. Can you shed some light how filter works?
Could we please take a look at the table in the back-end, and is it possible for you to show us the SQL Query that you used to create the View?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
And if you can point us to the table ID, please.

I will double-check how the default behaviour for what you described should be with senior colleagues, in the meantime, and we'll report back.
One small ,but important thing that i noticed, at the end of each Query you had the semi colon ; .
Since our plugin uses a parser to process the Queries, if we add the semi colon, our plugin can not properly filter/search in most of the cases, so i will suggest to avoid using it.
I hope you don't mind ,i took the liberty of removing the semi-colon from all of your Queries for the tables. Let me know if that helped in any way.

I can see that for the table in question, we are still not able to filter on the said column "Overall_Status" , as you said.
I will have to escalate this to our 2nd level Team. As soon as they advise me, i will report back with new information.
Thank you for pointing that out - i did not notice that detail in the footnote, it might be useful for my senior colleagues.
They have been extremely busy - and i still didn't get a report back - but i believe they should be able to help me quicker at this point - you've already been waiting for a long time.
I will report back as soon as they respond.
We will do our best to help you isolate the issue.
Your view is complex, and I assume it's something in there that's causing the issue with server-side processing table filtering.
Since this is a small table (111 rows), and since it's pulling the data from the view, so you can't edit it - I disabled server-side processing, and the filtering works fine now:
Would you be able to use the table normally like this?

Yes, i can see what you mean now.

Thanks a lot Milos for your help!
BTW, the footnote says there are 26 entries, but the body of the table says no matching record.
