I currently am working on a table that contains a column of numeric values. I am doing a sum total of the column and have created a formula column that contains percentages for each row based on that sum total.
I need to retrieve a column sum *after* filtering that will re-calculate the % value on each row. So, in other words, I need the percentage values to change based on the recalculated totals after the user filters the table.
I have tried this using the built in table features and also using SQL queries, with no luck.
This is quite an interesting question, to be honest.
We will try to replicate the same behaviour, just to test how the default behaviour is on our Test sites.
I will report back after we do that, we will be as quick as possible.

Could i also take a look at the back-end setup of this table, so that i can see the formula used, and the rest of the setup - it might help?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

Hi, Stella
Sorry about that - i just did a quick test with a dummy table; and i think i realised that what you need won't currently be possible with our plugin.
-
If you took the Total SUM number and placed the number in a Formula manually - that is the only way to use a SUM in a Formula column;
because currently for our plugin , these are the limitations for Formula columns;
and we are also unable to "take a SUM number", and to use it anywhere else as part of other calculations;
we can only display it ( under the column, or with shortcode anywhere else on site).
-
So, for example, if i make a table like this :
And if i take the SUM into the Formula, to make percentage column :
Then, if we filter the table, the Formula column is still going to use that "fixed number" that we input ( in my case 8) ...
-
Can you confirm that i understood everything correctly, and this is the same method how you made your Percentage Formula?
You can send me a screenshot to see how you made the Formula, as well. Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi, Stella
Firstly my apologies for all the waiting time. I was making sure to check every piece of information.
Unfortunately, at this time it is not possible to grab the SUM value and to use it dynamically as you need it for this goal.
Our devs will do their best to develop a solution in the near future, though.
