Admin booking for customer

    Dear team,

I have a questions regarding booking an appointment for a customer as an administrator in the backend.

In Amelia the following settings are done:

    • Allow admin to book appointment at any time
    • Standard booking window: 2h

When adding a new appointment from the backend, I get in the "Time" dropdown proposed time slots starting from 12am in 2h steps until 12pm. (This means 12am, 2am, 4am, etc.)

However, working time is set to start at 8.30h and I would like to book the appointment at e.g. 8.30h (neither 8 or 10am) or 17.30h.

Is it somehow possible to override the 2h-steps in the backend? The 2h-steps are needed in the frontend, however, I would need to FULLY override all time settings (including buffer time etc.).

    Thanks for your support.

    Best regards, Irene

    Hello Irene,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to override even with that option. When buffer time is enabled or Use service duration for booking a time slot, even the admin cannot override it. It is necessary to turn off those options for booking and then enable them again.

We understand the need for it and it is a good proposal I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page

Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Kind Regards,
