We just published a new wptdatatable via linking a googlesheet.
We use Turkish customization.
However the sorting for non-latin characters is wrong. The same problem is valid for other european languages which are using o and ö , c and ç together.
the sorting shall be like that
a b c ç d e .... (ç after c)
m n o ö ....... (ö after o)
however ç and ö appears at the buttom (please see the link)
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

I can see what you mean, from the related page...
Exactly as you described - for example the ç comes after Y > but as you said, if it should come after C (ç after c) ;
I will escalate this with our 2nd level Team - to see if this is the default , "expected" behaviour,
or if we might have a bug to fix.
As soon as they respond, i will report back right away.
Unfortunately, we got swamped by an unusual number of tickets for the past few days , and my senior colleagues didn't help me yet - but i expect them to do so fairly quickly at this point, we should have an update for you very soon.
The plugin uses Latin sorting logic, so other characters are pushed down. You can try changing the collation of your database, but I don't have high hopes that this is going to work.

Hello Alex.
Sorry for the delay.
The plugin uses Latin sorting logic, so other characters are pushed down. You can try changing the collation of your database, but I don't have high hopes that this is going to work.
Kind Regards,
