I have a query against my mysql database that retrieves two date fields. I want the user to be able to edit the first one, and then have the second one automatically update to be 30 minutes later.
SELECT start_date, end_date FROM wp_bookly_appointments
I can change the start date AND change the end date, but in my system, the end date should always be 30 minutes after the start date. I want to let the users change the start date if necessary, but I don't want them to have to remember to change the end date to be 30 minutes later. If they do, that's great. But if they don't, it will cause an issue.
Is there any way to force this behavior? I am willing to write php or js code to make it work if that is a possibility. For example, when they change the first date, I could write a script that says "update wp_bookly_appointments set end_date = DATE_ADD(start_date, interval 30 minute);"
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

I am honestly not sure if something like this is possible with our plugin, i never tried it before.
It is not with any built-in functionalities,
but I assume it should be possible with a custom solution.
We don't provide custom work as part of our support - but we like to do extra effort if our developers know of a workaround.
I will ask our 2nd level Team , to see if they got any working example for you - as soon as they respond, i will report back.
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

If you need a solution for it now, maybe it can be done with a high level of custom work, but I am not sure, to be honest.
Our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in the near future.
We can recommend reaching out to someone who does custom solutions, such as WP Kraken, but we can't advise on their pricing.

Hi, Andy
- I am sincerely sorry to disappoint you, but at this time, this is not achievable with any of the built in functionalities in our plugin.
