Hi Uroš, I realize that. But I can only seem to add a custom field to the appointment form - *not* to the Event sign-up. So…my question is… can I add a custom field to the Event sign-up form? I don't see how I can do that. If it's possible, can you send me instructions on how to do that? Thanks!
Uroš, I tried following the instructions to add a custom field in the video on this page: https://wpamelia.com/custom-fields/ but the video is outdated. And the instructions no longer apply. I need to add a text field for "Company Name" to my Event List Booking Form. I go to "Custom Fields" and I add a text box. I add the label "Company" but I get a box that shows a field labeled "Company" with a dropdown for Services and a dropdown for Events. First of all, I don't want those dropdowns. And second of all, when I go to "Customize" and refresh the page, the Company custom field does not show up. Why is this not working? Thank you.
You need the "Services" and the "Events" dropdowns in order to choose which services and events will have the custom field you created. That's not the custom field you see, but the setup for it. Basically, you need to assign the custom field you've created to services and events and the custom field would then appear on the front end.
Have you purchased the plugin? Custom fields are not available in the lite version of Amelia and you've opened a ticket in the Pre-Purchase section, which is reserved for questions before the purchase is made. If you have purchased the plugin, I'll have to ask you to provide us with proof of purchase (in a PRIVATE response, since this is a public ticket).
Do I need the Pro version to add custom fields to my event sign-up form?
Hello Peggi,
Thank you for expressing interest in the Amelia plugin.
Custom fields are supported with all Amelia licenses.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
