Hello, I see that you can do recurring bookings with Amelia but I'm a little confused about the wording for recurring payments. it says:
“Customers will have to pay only for the first appointment” – where price calculation will be shown for all appointments but the customer will need to pay only for the first one."
So my question is does Amelia support charging the customer once a week or once a month with an Automatic ACH? If so, does it work with all payment providers like paypal and stripe? I basically would like customers to book a weekly appointment and be able to be automatically charge every week or every month with a copy of the invoice sent to them after they have been charged. I would assume that this would be subject to the fees of paypal or stripe or whatever the payment processor is? Does automatic recurring payments work with regular debit cards or credit cards inputted in the mollie payment system?
So a summary of my questions:
1. Does Amelia support once a week or once a month recurring automatic payments and invoice sending after they have been charged?
2. Can a customer set up recurring automatic payments using their own credit or debit card or do they have to use service like paypal or stripe?
The other alternative I was looking at was Wave for automatic recurring payments. I'm looking to integrate with wordpress/woo commerce but would like payments and invoicing to be as automated as possible.
Thanks for reading and looking forward to your reply. I am serious about finding a recurring payments provider, and I think Amelia is extremely attractive because you have a lifetime software purchase. Please don't ever change that! :)
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. There is no option in Amelia for automatic billing for recurring appointments or any other. You can choose for the customer to pay only for the first and pay for the others "in person" or they can pay for everything at once.
As for the integration of plugins that could automatically charge, we do not have such integration and unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that this could be achieved with some other plugin.
What you want to achieve is currently not possible with Amelia.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
