Please help me out on a problem. I have planned for myself as employee time slots to book appointments until september 16th. In general settings the amount of days available for booking is 120. But my calender on my website shows appointments until the 24th of august. My holiday starts next week until the 21st of august and I want give people the opportunity to book appointments in advance after my holiday. Where do I have to change this setting? Something is conflicting obvisously, but where? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Kind regards, Corien Plaisier
Please send us a couple of screenshots of your service and employee setting. We need to see every set up that you have made regarding working hours, holidays, special days, etc...
We believe we can solve this issue for you before the weekend.
It seems we can see something odd.
On the Special Days of the employee, you have set the dates to go only until the 24th of August - there is nothing after that.
;
And on the Standard Work Hours, this employee has no working hours assigned for any service, for any day :
- If you wish to make standard available time slots, you have to allocate some work hours for the days of the employee, for example , this is how an employee with work hours should look :
If you're not sure how to set this up, please check our Documentation here, that shows how to set up a working schedule for employees, and how to add work hours.
-
So you can set, basically, standard work hours for employees- and you can also set Special Days.
The Special Days will override, if they happen on the same day when employee got something in "standard work days";
Let me know how it goes, and if you have any questions?
Please have a closer look. I have planned my special days until september16th. I can still see the pictures in my reply to Marko ...
I did not assign any working hours. Because these appointments are only to block my diary for 1 hour a day. The rest of the day I have other appointments, which I do not book with Amelia. I plan them myself with my clients after we have had an appointment. So I do not think I need to fill in the workings hours. Is this correct.
The appointments in Amelia are needed to book the first session to get to know one another. This is also a sales oppotunity.
My original question is about the length of showing special days in the calender on my site. I have set it at 120 days, but it only works for 30 days.
Please have look again after this extra information.
Amelia does not work like that, we will try to explain to you how to set up what you want.
You have set special days, that is, the days that can be booked will only appear on those days when special days are set.
The option to book 120 days in advance, which you want, has nothing to do with special days but is related to working hours.
Try to set it in the following way and in that case, everything should be fine.
You want to have free time slots in Amelia for 1 hour a day, in that case, you can set the working hours of the employee to work 1 hour a day on certain days and when you set it, the option to book in the next 120 hours will work. And in that case, your customer will be able to book an appointment within the next 120 days.
If you do not want to use the working hours available time to book in advance option will not work, the working hour does not exist and you need to create all the next 120 special days manually.
I hope that we have now managed to explain to you how Amelia works, if you have any suggestions for improving Amelia I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
