On the backend of the site, when I try to manually enter an appointment, when I get to the select day, it shows the days like usual, but does not allow me to click on any days.
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
This can happen for two reasons.
1. You probably test booked or booked for a customer while you were logged in as an admin. Please note that when you do this in the future you should always do it from the incognito window.
Now you as an admin have probably created an employee/customer in the database with your name or email. This leads to a role conflict because admin and employee/customer have different permissions and for that reason, you can't see certain things because it recognizes you in part as an employee/customer.
It is best to search your database in wp_amelia_users and find a user with your email. You will most likely see the user having the role of customer/employee just delete it from the database and that should fix everything.
2. Please check you period available for booking in advance in Amelia/settings/general settings
Thank you for responding. Both reasons aren't the case here.
I'm signed into the backend of the site. Manually entering a event. It will not let met choose a day. (I attached screenshots).
Also, the booking in advance is 14 days. I'm trying to insert an appointment for tomorrow.
Note: I have allow admin to schedule appointment at anytime turned on.
Also, I noticed on my public website frontend, now when customers select the employee or time it just loads and freezes. Nothing happens. (See example: https://crackhouserecordingstudio.com)
We had a minor bug that should have been resolved with version 5.1. Even if the allow admin option is enabled, the admin cannot book before the set period.
We now have a new version 5.1 which has built-in fixes, please install it and make sure to purge the cache afterward and that issue should be resolved.
We are sending you the latest version of Amelia in the attachment and a short instruction on how to update Amelia to the latest version.
Go to Amelia Settings/Activation, and make sure that the "Delete Amelia content" slider is disabled.
Then, go to your Plugins section and deactivate the plugin. If you're using WordPress 5.8+, you'll be able to go to the Plugins section/Add New, and upload the file you previously downloaded.
When you upload the file, WordPress will inform you that you're replacing the plugin with the new version, so just confirm that. After the plugin is installed, activate it, and make sure to purge all cache from your website.
I've been advised - with the help of our developers, it is now fixed for your site.
It was quite tricky to identify, and you shouldn't see any issue like this again.
Basically, this "glitch" happened because an employee had a Busy Event in a Calendar; but no scheduled appointments in Amelia, it has somehow returned "NULL" instead of "0" for "buffer times". ( sorry if i didn't explain that perfectly)
In any case, our developers will make sure to implement a permanent fix in the next update for Amelia; so that when you update it, the issue will not come back.

Please check everything, and let me know, everything should be working without issues now.
Thank you for fixing that issue. There was actually 2 issues. The other was what I had named the ticket.
I'm still not able to manually enter an appointment. I have 1 screenshot showing what I'm referring to. Another showing that I do have the "Allow admin to book appointment at any time" enabled.
I've always been able to manually enter appointments until about 4 days ago when the other issue that you've already fixed happened.

I have followed your instructions, yet both problems still exist.
I have attached a screenshot of front end continuing to load when you click continue.
Also, on the backend, I'm not able to select the day on the calendar. This has always worked in the past as I've done it 100's of times.
Please help as my business is not able to receive orders or income due to this problem with the plugin.
Thank you in advance for your help and patience.
Hi, Nicholas
We made further investigation of the booking page, and we found this error 500, with an error message.
I have passed this to our 2nd level Team with the highest urgency, since we can see this is affecting your business.
Could you please grant us temporary WP-Admin access? I tried some old credentials you gave us, but they're not working.
Of course, if you send it, please mark reply as Private.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi, Nicholas
Thank you for reporting more details - we did not spot this right away.
Our developers have found a bug on your site - again, this one is also very strange and we never saw this before,
somehow a boolian value was wrong in the plugin's code - i won't bother you too much with detailed specifics,
but the developers changed it as it should be - and now it seems everything is functional again on your site.
They will work to make sure to fix this for your permanently, and to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else.
For now, if you can please check if everything is in working order, and let us know?
Thank you
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
