I was wondering if I could guidance on how to remove the default '1' from an event when multiple tickets/pricing is presented. I'm using it with a client site and she's having issues with '1' being displayed. I realize it's an industry norm with anything I've created but would like a way so all will display as '0' and force the purchaser to select an option.
Not sure if there is just a setting I missed, if it could be done with css or php?
Unfortunately, you can't change that for now. Amelia is designed so that the first custom option ticket you created is automatically added because one ticket is being purchased.
They can choose the ticket they want, but this one is chosen automatically but I understand your point of view.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

As far as i am aware, this is not possible, since in Amelia, you technically make one booking from a customer, and this customer can buy 6 tickets at the same time, for their "group of people", and Amelia treats it as a single purchase.
So, we will probably have to make a suggestion for our developers to try and create a solution in the future.
But i will check with our 2nd level Team, if we have any kind of a workaround for you, to make this work.
Thank you for your patience, we will do our best to be quick - i will report back once they confirm it.
To return to the initial reasoning for this post. Is it possible to have custom work produced in order to have no default option? Ie. no 1 put in any of the ticket options. My client is admit that this isn’t working for her. If not, I believe we will have to source another plugin.
Regarding the initial issue - the "1" preselected by default for custom price categories ;
i have just spoken with our developers, and we are looking into providing you with a custom hook in order to make "0" as default for all prices;
i just have to give them a bit more time, they are doing some testing to devise a custom workaround right now.
We are also considering to make this "0" as default for everyone, going forward from the next Update, since we already had a number of users who would prefer it that way.
This has also been passed to our management.
If you can be so kind to give us a couple of days - and i will report back to confirm what they decided;
as well as to provide you with any current "emergency workaround" solution, if possible.

I will report back as soon as we confirm that for you - we will be as quick as possible.

Thank you for the clarification.
One other question related to quantities.
On the same site, I’ve got it connected with Woocommerce because they also sell products in addition to experiences.
When the customer fills out the information it’s just one line item (even if they select 6 tickets for example) with the total (1x$270).
Is there way to make the accurate number of 6 vs a transaction total? It’s growing to be very confusing especially when the receipts are emailed.

Hi, Kristen
Sorry, i wish to make a correction - just looked into this further. Did you try to set up the metaData details for WooCommerce?
You will find this in Amelia settings / Payment settings / and if you scroll down , you will find :
'Set MetaData and Description'
We have various placeholders that you can use - and WooCommerce will get the information as part of the receipt.
For example, this placeholder %event_tickets% should pass the details of the tickets to WooCommerce payment.
I hope that helps.
Can you try this in the meantime - and i will still come back to confirm this with senior colleagues?
Thank you
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi, Kristen
I got confirmation on this.
I am truly sorry to dissapoint you, but currently we don't have a way to split the tickets into several WooCommerce products;
since the Event booking will be only as one product, and we can't present each ticket as "separate purchase".
But i hope that at least setting the metaData details might help to show the receipt in a more clear way for the customers.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi Milos.
Thanks! I appreciate you doing this. The faster the better. Please update ASAP.
Hello. Is there any more updates?
Hi, Kristen
My sincere apologies for all the waiting time.
I can definitely confirm that a change will be pushed as part of the next Update,
our developers have successfully made it work, so that now it will be "0" by default.
We are pretty confident that there should be no issues to push the change with the next Update.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you

Do you know when this update will be pushed?
Hi, Kristen
The developers are working intensively to make it as quick as possible.
I was told today by our management that by their estimated time, it should be pushed during the next week;
they are pretty confident about this timeline.
